Stanley Park Totems
Vancouver, Canada
Cities Canada
Vancouver is the next city. We move there in May 2026, with our first child arriving later in the year. The first painting I made of this place was Stanley Park, on a visit, before I knew this was where we'd live. It still tells me everything about why.
Vancouver is where the next chapter begins. My husband is American, our first child is on the way, and the studio is moving with us — boxes and brushes, paper and pigment, into a flat I haven’t yet seen.
I painted Stanley Park before this move was a plan. The totems were the easy subject; the forest behind them was the painting that made me know.
I don’t have a Vancouver journal yet. I have one painting, and a lot of guesses. The first proper post from the new studio is in the works — sign up for the postcards if you want it in your inbox the morning I land.
Originals ship from the studio. Postcards, prints, and the book live on Etsy.
